What is Cashback?

Cashback or commonly known as “rebate” means money back. Maybank Credit Card and Debit Card gives you back a portion/percentage of your spending when you make an online purchase through the Maybank Cashback website.

How will I get the cashback?

1. Access the Maybank Cashback website (https://cashback.maybank.com.ph).
2. Choose the online store where you wish to purchase and input your unique Treats ID.
3. Purchase the item you wish to buy using your Maybank Credit Card or Maybank Debit Card.
4. Cashback will be directly credited back to your Maybank Credit or Debit Card account after 60 days.

Where do I get my unique Treats ID?

You will receive a unique Treats ID via your registered mobile number and/or email address (on bank’s record). In case you have misplaced your unique Treats ID, you can check your Treats ID at https://www.maybank.com.ph/en/personal/cards/promotions/treatsid.html. You simply need to input the necessary information for your Treats ID to be regenerated.

Do I need to have a Maybank Credit Card or Maybank Debit Card to get the cashback?

Yes. You need to have a Maybank Credit Card or Debit Card since the cashback will be directly credited to your card account. All your online transactions should also be made using your Maybank Credit Card or Debit Card to be able to qualify for the cashback.

How do I know if my cashback transaction is being recorded properly?

Visit the Cashback History link located on the main page. The Cashback History page will show all your transactions 3 to 7 days after your transaction. Pending transactions mean that the merchant has reported the transaction and will reconfirm the cashback amount after the allowed return period or the travel date. Paid transactions mean the amount has been credited to your Maybank Credit Card or Debit Card account. Declined transactions mean the merchants invalidated the transactions mainly due to the items being returned or reservations being cancelled.

How much cashback do I get?

The cashback amount differs per online merchant. Customers may get from 1% to 15% cashback, depending on the online store. You may check the cashback tiers for every store on each pop-up page(generated by the Maybank Cashback website to know the amount of cashback you will be given).

How long will it take for me to get my cashback?

As long as the item/order purchased online is not returned once delivered and received, the cashback shall be reflected in your account within 30-60 days, depending on the online merchant.

Will my cashback expire?

No. The cashback accumulated in your Maybank Credit Card or Debit Card account does not have an expiration.

I‘m experiencing difficulty logging in or clicking the Maybank Cashback link provided to go to the Maybank Cashback website. What should I do?

Why didn’t I get my Cashback?

Your Cashback may not have been credited due to the following reasons:

1. Purchase was not made through the Maybank Cashback website (https://cashback.maybank.com.ph)
2. You may not have followed the Merchant Store’s Terms & Conditions when ordering through the Maybank Cashback website. Every partner store has its own Terms and Conditions. If you do not adhere to these when ordering, no cashback will be given. You can access each partner store's Terms & Conditions on the pop-up pages generated by the Maybank Cashback website link.
3. Cashback takes up to 60 days to be processed, credited and reflected in your credit card account.
4. There was a cancellation, return, or exchange of your order. Cashback is only given for successful orders and will not be credited for cancellations, returns or exchanges.
5. You have ad blockers or have disabled allowing cookies on your browser.
6. You did not use your Maybank Credit Card or Maybank Debit Card in purchasing online.

The amount of the cashback I received was incorrect. What should I do?

Your cashback calculation is based on the following factors:

1. For some online merchant stores, the percentage and/or amount of cashback given is not fixed and is calculated based on different tiers (e.g. different categories of products and new/existing customers).
2. Check the cashback tiers for every online store on each pop-up page (generated by the Maybank Cashback website) to know the amount of cashback you will be given before ordering.

How do I know how much I’m going to get from marketplace sites like Lazada and Shopee?

Marketplace sites like Lazada, AliExpress and Shopee have different rates for different categories. The percentage and/or amount of cashback awarded is not fixed and is calculated based on different tiers (e.g. different categories of products, and participating brands). Please check the individual merchant pages to view the categories and their respective cashbacks. Lazada, AliExpress and Shopee have the right to change the cashback rate at any time.
